Military Credit Advocacy Services

Education, advocacy, and support designed for the realities of military service.

ChalkUp Credit Solutions provides military-focused credit education and advocacy for active-duty service members, veterans, Guard and Reserve members, and military families nationwide.

Our services are structured to meet different needs and timelines. We recommend starting with education and assessment before pursuing advocacy—this ensures informed decisions and realistic expectations.

All services prioritize compliance with federal law, transparency, and accuracy-based correction. We do not make guarantees, use pressure tactics, or operate outside legal boundaries.

Our Approach: Education first. Law-based advocacy. No hype. No pressure.

Documentation & Evidence Preparation

Organization of deployment orders, PCS records, payment histories, and military service documentation to strengthen dispute legitimacy and creditor communication.

Creditor & Bureau Communication

Professional communication with credit bureaus, creditors, and collection agencies on your behalf. All correspondence documented and compliant with FDCPA and FCRA requirements.

Complex & Time-Sensitive Case Support

Priority advocacy for urgent military situations

Specialized support for service members facing deadlines, high-stakes situations, or credit issues requiring immediate attention and thorough legal strategy.

Situations We Address

VA Loan Preparation

Credit correction strategies prioritized for VA loan underwriting standards and qualification timelines. Documentation preparation for lender review.

Security Clearance Reviews

Comprehensive documentation packages showing proactive credit correction, financial responsibility, and mitigation efforts for clearance adjudicators.

SCRA / MLA Violation Enforcement

Identification and enforcement of Servicemembers Civil Relief Act interest rate violations and Military Lending Act protections with creditor compliance demands.

Deployment-Related Credit Damage

Correction of reporting errors caused by deployment communication gaps, APO address issues, or creditor non-compliance with service member notification requirements.

PCS Move Credit Issues

Resolution of address mismatches, duplicate accounts, or reporting errors stemming from Permanent Change of Station relocations across multiple duty stations.

Legacy Military Credit Problems

Long-standing credit issues originating from prior deployments, transitions out of service, or older military-related financial disruptions requiring thorough investigation.

How Complex Cases Are Handled

Complex and time-sensitive cases receive priority attention with expedited communication, comprehensive documentation strategies, and ongoing status updates.

However, legal timeframes still apply—credit bureaus have 30-45 days to investigate disputes under FCRA. We cannot control investigation speed, but we ensure all submissions are thorough, compliant, and strategically prioritized.

No Guarantees: Even with priority attention, outcomes depend on factual accuracy, documentation quality, and bureau investigation findings. ChalkUp cannot guarantee specific results, timelines, or loan/clearance approval.

What Our Services Do NOT Include

Transparency about limitations is essential for lawful operations and informed decisions.

No Guaranteed Score Increases

ChalkUp does not guarantee any specific credit score increase. Scores depend on multiple factors including accuracy of reporting, credit utilization, payment history, and individual credit profile. We correct inaccuracies—score changes are a secondary outcome.

No Guaranteed Removals

We do not guarantee the removal of any specific item from your credit report. If information is accurate, properly documented, and verifiable, it cannot be lawfully removed. We dispute inaccuracies—outcomes depend on bureau investigation findings.

No Instant Fixes or Quick Solutions

Credit advocacy is a legal process governed by FCRA timelines. Credit bureaus have 30-45 days to investigate disputes. Multiple rounds may be required. We cannot bypass legal requirements or accelerate bureau investigations beyond statutory obligations.

No Illegal Tactics or Loopholes

ChalkUp operates strictly within federal law. We do not use identity manipulation, frivolous disputes, harassment tactics, or any strategy that violates FCRA, FDCPA, or other consumer protection laws. All advocacy is factually grounded and legally compliant.

No Pressure Sales or Misleading Claims

We do not use high-pressure sales tactics, exaggerated promises, or misleading testimonials. All communications are factual, transparent, and designed to help you make informed decisions. You are never pressured to purchase services.

No Debt Elimination or Settlement Services

Credit advocacy corrects inaccurate reporting—it does not eliminate legitimate debt. Clients remain legally responsible for debts they legitimately owe. ChalkUp does not provide debt settlement, negotiation, or bankruptcy services.

Full Compliance Commitment

ChalkUp Credit Solutions operates in full compliance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). We make no guarantees, promises, or representations regarding specific outcomes.
